One missing tooth
A single gap after an extraction or injury, without grinding down the teeth next to it.
Fixed new teeth that look and feel natural
A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth. Once it has bonded with the bone, it holds a crown, a bridge or a full arch of teeth that you never take out.
Benefits
Implants fuse with the jaw bone and, with good care, can last for decades.
An implant keeps the jaw bone active and helps prevent the shrinking that follows tooth loss.
The crown is shaped and shaded to match your own teeth.
Every implant comes with its manufacturer warranty card.
Procedure
From your first visit to the final result.
Your dentist examines your mouth and takes a 3D CBCT scan to measure the bone and plan the exact position of each implant.
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic. Most patients return to normal activities the next day.
The implant bonds with the bone over about 3–6 months. You can travel home during this time.
We take a digital scan and fit your final crown or bridge on top of the implant.
3D digital scan technology
Instead of trays of impression paste, we scan your teeth with an iTero intraoral scanner in a few minutes. Your scan, treatment design and temporary teeth can all be done on the day of your visit.

Questions
The area is fully numbed, so you should feel pressure but not pain. Most patients describe the following days as mild soreness that settles with ordinary painkillers.
No. The implant price covers placement of the implant. The crown or bridge on top, and bone grafting if you need it, are priced separately. You receive a full written quote before treatment.
Often yes. If there is not enough bone, a bone graft can be placed before or at the same time as the implant. Your 3D scan shows whether you need one.
Sometimes. An immediate implant is possible when the bone and gum are healthy. Your dentist will tell you after the scan.
